Accountability means you are never trapped. The cancellation terms below are written for the country you have selected above. When you switch countries, the consumer protection framework, the cooling off window, and the governing jurisdiction all change to match the place where your business operates.
Accountability means you are never trapped. You can cancel at any stage, and the cost of cancelling is always written down before the work begins, never invented afterwards.
You may cancel before specification approval at no cost. You may cancel after specification approval but before implementation begins, paying only the specification hours. You may cancel during implementation, paying only for the work completed up to the cancellation date. Every cancellation path is governed by South African law and the Consumer Protection Act.
If you cancel after specification work has begun, the charge is built the same way as the specification fee. We multiply the local purchasing power rate by the number of Zibuke Africa employees deployed, and by the hours they actually worked. The calculator below shows how that figure is built.
The specification rate of R650 per hour is charged per Zibuke Africa employee deployed to your engagement.
This calculator is illustrative. The actual hours worked are confirmed with you in writing before any cancellation charge is invoiced. You will never be asked to pay for hours that were not genuinely worked.
We want you to read these paths once, understand them fully, and then never have to think about them again. If a path is unclear, that is a signal to ask us before you begin, not after.
There is no charge. The specification conversation that precedes approval is free. You owe nothing, and we respect your decision to step away.
You pay only the specification hours actually worked, at the per deployed employee rate for your country. The specification document is yours to keep and use as you wish.
If you have paid the first instalment and cancel within the cooling off window shown above, you receive a refund of that instalment minus only the specification hours already earned. The window is set by the consumer protection law of your country.
You pay only for the work completed up to the cancellation date, calculated transparently at the same per deployed employee rate. All work already delivered is handed over to you in a usable form.
Everything completed to that point is handed over. No further instalments fall due beyond what covers the work already delivered. The observation ends cleanly, with the work in your hands.
To cancel at any stage, send a single written notice to support@zibukeafrica.com from the email address we have on file for your engagement. State that you wish to cancel, and we will take care of the rest. We will confirm receipt within one business day, calculate any charge due using the method above, share that figure with you in writing, and settle the matter promptly.
There are no cancellation penalties beyond the genuine cost of work already performed. There are no administrative fees. There is no obligation to give a reason, though we always welcome your feedback so we can improve.
A cancellation policy you understand fully is a sign of an honest partnership. Reach out, and a senior specification lead will walk you through any line that is not yet clear.
