We do not hide behind fine print. The refund terms below are written for the country you have selected above. When you switch countries, the data protection law, the consumer protection framework, the cooling off window, and the governing jurisdiction all change to match the place where your business operates.

If you decide not to proceed with implementation after we have produced your specification, you pay only for the hours that specification genuinely took. That fee is charged at the local purchasing power rate of R650 per hour, per Zibuke Africa employee deployed to your engagement. The specification document becomes yours to keep, to use internally, or to take to any other implementer.

How Refunds Are Calculated

Charged per deployed employee, at your country rate.

The specification rate is not a flat fee. It is charged per hour, per Zibuke Africa employee deployed to your engagement. When we deploy more people, the work moves faster. When we deploy fewer, it costs less per day. The calculator below shows exactly how the charge is built.

The specification rate of R650 per hour is charged per Zibuke Africa employee deployed to your engagement.

This is the only charge that can fall due before any implementation begins. It applies only when a specification is produced and you choose not to proceed with implementation. If you proceed, the specification work folds into the first instalment and is not charged separately.

This calculator is illustrative. The exact number of deployed employees and the exact hours for your specification are confirmed with you in writing before any specification work begins. Every figure is shared before it is invoiced, and no figure is ever changed without your written approval.

Every Refund Scenario

What happens at each stage, written down before you begin.

Accountability means you can see every outcome before you commit. The scenarios below cover every stage of an engagement, from first conversation to the end of the six month observation period.

Before Specification Approval

If you cancel before the specification is approved, there is no charge. The specification conversation that precedes it is free. You owe nothing, and we part as colleagues who simply did not find the right fit.

After Specification, Before Implementation

If a specification is produced and you decide not to proceed with implementation, you pay only for the specification hours actually worked, at the rate above, per deployed employee. The specification document is yours to keep.

Within The Cooling Off Window

If you proceed and pay the first instalment, then change your mind within the cooling off window shown above, you may cancel and receive a refund of the first instalment minus only the specification hours already earned.

During Implementation

If you cancel during implementation, you pay only for the work completed up to the cancellation date, calculated transparently at the same per deployed employee rate. Work already delivered is handed over to you.

During The Six Month Observation

If you cancel during the observation period, everything completed to that point is handed over. No further instalments fall due beyond what covers the work already delivered.

After The Engagement Ends

Once all instalments are settled, there is nothing further to refund or to charge. The relationship continues on whatever terms you and we agree for any future work.

Your Data

Your personal information is handled under POPIA.

We hold only the information you choose to share with us, and we hold it for the sole purpose of serving your engagement. When you switch countries above, the data protection law shown here changes to the law that applies where your business operates. We process personal information lawfully, we keep it only as long as we need it, and we never sell it. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it.
